Grieving mothers, please bring your “support sister”, the person who has supported you in the wake of your loss for a retreat focusing on self-care and connection. Please note: this retreat is not intended for couples. Please see our available “Couples retreats” if interested.
We understand attending a retreat with strangers can be intimidating and we hope that bringing your "support sister" will ease some of your fears to attend. This will provide a chance for you to further deepen your connection and honor your grief together. Please note, you and your support sister will be sharing a private room.
What can you expect during a retreat at Luella's Lodge?
Group discussions: Being with other bereaved parents allows for a special connection and a chance to share our wonderful children. During the retreat, you will have an opportunity to participate in several whole group and small group discussions, meditation and relaxation through Yoga and other methods, memorial projects and exploration of the outdoors. The lodge sits on 10 private acres with a small private lake, and there are kayaks and hiking trails to enjoy nature, allowing for self-reflection and meditation.
The cost is $400 per duo for your 2 night stay. This cost includes meals/drinks/snacks during your stay, a shared room and all activities.
$75 deposit required per duo: $25 of which is non-refundable registration fee. Remaining $50 will be applied to your total and is refundable if canceled more the 1 month prior to the retreat. Your remaining balance of $350 can be paid during check out at your retreat.
